CHOICE BLOCK

Choice Block classes take place during the regular class schedule. These classes offer topics outside core academics. Art, theater, health and music are a few of the classes currently being offered this 2011 - 2012 school year.

EXTENSIONS

Fridays, at Salem Academy, end at 2:00 p.m. Extensions classes are offered on Fridays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. These classes offer students the opportunity to participate in athletics, art, music, clubs, drama, tutoring, homework help and more!

TRIPS AND EVENTS

Trips are organized throughout the school year for the students. These include visits to local museums, historical sites and local community events. In late spring, students embark on annual multi-day trips both inside and outside Massachusetts. Past trips have included Camp Bournedale, New York City, Washington D.C., and even a service trip to New Orleans.
