Salem Academy Charter School is currently accepting Enrollment Applications for the 2010-2011 school year.

Salem Academy Charter School is a public school enrolling students from Salem and the surrounding communities in grades six through twelve. We welcome all who choose to come to school here.  To be eligible for admission to Salem Academy, applicants must submit an Enrollment Form.  The enrollment process is not selective and is non-discriminatory. There is no tuition.  Salem Academy admits students on a space available basis in the following order, as required by law:

1.  Siblings of currently enrolled students who reside in Salem.

2.  Siblings of currently enrolled students who reside in other MA cities or towns.

3.  Students who currently reside in Salem.

4.  Students who currently reside in other MA cities or towns.

The school determines the number of available spaces by grade level each year.  The enrollment season is from early Fall through early March.  If the number of applicants exceeds the number of available spaces, a lottery is held at the school to determine enrollment and waiting lists for each grade.

Admissions Information Sessions will be held on the following dates:

December 9, 2009

January 28, 2010

February 24, 2010

The enrollment deadline for 2010-2011 enrollment is March 8, 2010.

The admissions lottery will be held on March 10, 2010.
