Salem Academy welcomes Study Tours this Thursday!

This Thursday, 40 leaders from Salem Public Schools will visit Salem Academy for the first of several Study Tours.  The event is planned as part of a larger effort to disseminate Salem Academy’s Standards-Based Instructional Practices to the District.  This collaboration is funded by a $364,000 grant, awarded by the DESE in July.   Salem Academy was one of only three charter schools in the state chosen to receive dissemination grants.  We are excited to partner with Salem Public Schools and look forward to having SPS in the building this week!

Salem Academy Charter School is a small, public charter school serving the diverse student population of Salem and the surrounding communities with grades six through twelve. Through a unique integration of college preparatory classes with service to the community, Salem Academy’s mission is to graduate informed, articulate, and proactive individuals of strong character. Today, Salem Academy has over 400 students in grades six through twelve.
