Special Education Parent Rights Workshop

We invite you to join us for our annual Special Education Parent Rights Workshop on Wednesday, June 11, at 6:30 PM. This important workshop is required by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and is designed to ensure that all families understand their rights under state and federal special education law. Stephanie Ozahowski, a staff attorney from Health Law Advocates, will be doing the presentation.

How the IEP process works
Parent and student rights under special education law
How services and supports are determined
What to do if you have concerns
