WELCOME TO THE 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR

AT SALEM ACADEMY CHARTER SCHOOL!

This is our fifth year. Not long ago, we began with 88 students in grades six and seven. There were only six teachers. This year, we will have 300 students in grades six through twelve. We will have 32 teachers, a school counselor, a college counselor, an athletic director, a full-time nurse, and administrative and support staff. Our new science labs are complete and fully equipped, and several of our classrooms will include new SMART Boards.

All parents and guardians are invited to attend this year's first meeting of the

School, Family Community Team ("SFC Team") on Thursday, September 4th 

at 7:00 p.m.  Additionally, we encourage you to reserve the evening of Wednesday, September 17th for the traditional Pot Luck Supper/Open House/Back to School Night.

We embrace parents/guardians as partners in the educational process at Salem Academy, and we look forward to an exciting and successful school year!
